As parents we have to be very diligent about our children. Remember your children are counting on you to do the responsible thing and make sure, as much as possible, that everyone you let into your lives is not a potential threat to their safety. Yea, it may sound a little creepy checking out your “special friends”, the kid’s coaches and teachers and daycare workers but you can never be too safe. I know that most places do a background check on those who will be teaching children, taking care of children, etc., but you, as a parent, deserve to have that information as well. So, if they will not provide a copy to you then you can get one yourself.
